Meet the Team
Our team consists of veterinarians and writers who are also dedicated pet parents who love to share information about pets. We believe every pet deserves the best care possible and we’re committed to providing expert advice and accurate information to help pet parents make the best decisions for their furry friends, whether that involves choosing the right scratching post or taking care of a medical condition. Our website has thousands of articles covering all aspects of caring for dogs, cats, and more — even rabbits, hamsters, and fish! We take a hard look at the most current veterinarian-recommended approaches to caring for pets with health issues, behavior issues, safety and training that is recommended by ethical and certified trainers.
Our team of writers includes veterinarians with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degrees, Licensed Vet Technicians (LVTs), and trainers who are certified to address severe or challenging behavior problems like aggression, reactivity, anxiety, and phobias. Our trainers have certifications as Certified Canine Behavior Consultants (CBCC-KA), Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA), Certified Dog Behavior Fear Free Certified Trainer, Certified Professional Dog Trainer- Knowledge Assessed (CPDT-KA), Certified Trick Dog Instructor (CTDI), and AKC CGC Evaluator.
Many of our behavior- and health-related articles are reviewed by our licensed board-certified veterinarians. Look for the check mark that lets you know the article was reviewed by one of our experts. The veterinarian-review process ensures that the information is accurate and up-to-date.
