Mountains are the best thing on earth. (Full disclosure, this writer is from Colorado and it's possible that she's biased about that mountain statement, but she's pretty sure she's right.) Fresh cool mountain air can fix just about anything, much like a dog can fix anything. It makes all the sense in the world to want to name your dog after the landform that is so healing. (And honestly, vice versa the next mountain should be named Golden Retriever Ridge or Pit Bull Peak.)
